Butterscotch Balsam
Story:
Butterscotch Balsam grew from an early rose experiment that needed time. The original blend brought together a trio of roses with fenugreek and immortelle. After letting it rest and returning to it with fresh perspective, we found a new direction: keep its depth and warmth, then build around it with beeswax, spice, resins, woods, and oud.
At the heart is our butterscotch accord, made from field-grown raspberries, locally sourced pomegranates, and vanilla beans tinctured. Together, they form a caramelized, fruity, butterscotch facet that becomes the fragrance’s lasting thread. We built around it with tonka, sweet Kynam oud, Douglas fir balsams and heartwood, sandalwood, and vetiver. Beeswax, frankincense, cardamom, and allspice bring warmth and texture. The result is a potent, long-lasting woody pseudo-gourmand: sweet, resinous, and warmly balsamic, with a butterscotch character that lingers on and on.
