Story:

Coffee and Kush began with a coffee-and-cannabis distillation whose cooked, medicinal edge came through with overwhelming force. We kept working with that vivid character. Immortelle and Kynam oud brought warmth and depth to the co-distillation, while rose became a fragrant counterpoint to the green, medicinal cannabis notes.

Kayla gave the composition its final scene: a slow moment on a porch with a hot cup of espresso, a little cream, fragrant rose bushes nearby, and the rich, green aroma of cannabis in the air. That scene gives the attar a small world of its own—roasted coffee, creamy warmth, roses in bloom and Kush in the air. A measured touch of our butterscotch accord and Butterscotch Balsam brings that creamy quality to the blend, rounding the coffee’s bitter edge while letting its herbaceous character shine through. The frankincense and Atlas cedar resin fixative grounds the composition in warm woods and resin.

As the fragrance settles, the medicinal, herbaceous cannabis character remains vivid, joined by rose, coffee, and the depth of Kynam oud. It’s an earthy, woody scent with a touch of creaminess and a long, distinctive trail.

The medicinal, herbaceous cannabis character carries through the drydown, anchored by the frankincense and Atlas cedar resin fixative. Rose, Kynam oud, and a trace of butterscotch warmth linger alongside it.
