Blue Oud

Story:

Blue Oud began as a study of yarrow in its fullest expression: sharp and vegetal, deeply blue, yet ethereal and floral. Tansy and the surrounding botanicals amplify its green, slightly bitter, chlorophyll-rich character into an intense, almost apothecary-like presence. Alongside that vivid green is a softer counterpart. The quiet floral quality of yarrow, gentle sweetness, and the hay-like warmth that emerges as it settles. A cool aquatic current moves through the composition, giving the green and floral facets a luminous blue lift. Vietnamese oud anchors the fragrance with striking petrichor depth: damp wood, rich soil, the smell of matter returning to earth.
